1,2....READY!

En jahoor, na heel wat uithalen, twijfelen en prutsen is mijn muts af! Nou heb ik straks in de sneeuw toch warme oren. Ik heb een deel van een patroon gebruikt, maar omdat ik een hele creme-witte muts wilde, vond ik dat een beetje saai. Uiteindelijk heb ik er een stuk boord ondergehaakt, wat naar mijn mening wel vrolijk is uitgepakt. Grote fluffy pompom erop en klaar.

And yes, after a lot crocheting, doubting and redoing my hat is finished! When it begins to snow this gal will have warm ears. I used a pattern part, but because I made a complete offwhite hat, it came out quite boring. Eventually I made a cuff beyond it, what came out quite exciting. A big fluffy pompom and I was finished.

Het verbaast me wat een kunstzinnige foto dit geworden is (en hoe lastig het is om jezelf in een spiegel van achteren te fotograferen hahaha). En dan uiteindelijk nog een foto zonder muts :-)

It surprises me how arty this picture looks (and how hard it is to make a picture of yourself in a mirror haha). And finally a picture of me without the hat :-)

Om de set compleet te maken zou er eigenlijk ook nog een sjaal bij moeten...

To make it complete, it would be nice to make also a scarf...

Baby it's cold outside

 Ohhh, hebben jullie de weerberichten voor het einde van de week al gehoord? Er komt misschien wel sneeuw! Ik ben dol op sneeuw en winterweer. Er is alleen één nadeel: het is koud. Dus heb ik het idee opgevat om zelf een muts te maken. Vooral ook omdat ik de meeste mutsen in de meeste winkels stom vind. Voordeel van mutsen in winkels is wel dat je ze kan passen. Want hoe weet je van tevoren dat de muts die je maakt, je ook staat? Welk model, welke kleur... Dilemma's dilemma's...


Did you hear the weatherforcast? The end of the week, there will be snow! I love snowy winter weather. There's only one less fun part: the cold. So I came up with the idea of making myself a nice warm comfy hat. Especially because I really don't like the hats in the stores. The only thing I like about hats in stores is you can try them on. Because how will you know the hat suits you well? The model, the colours... I don't know what to choose. Hmmm....

Mutsenparade / Hat parade

Vandaag ben ik bezig om uit te vinden hoe mijn mini fotostudio precies werkt. Een paar weken geleden heb ik er één aangeschaft en dan moet je er toch een keer aan geloven. Dus nu maar een start gemaakt om nou eindelijk mijn nieuwe webwinkel af te bouwen.

Today I'm busy to find out how exactly my mini fotostudio works. A few weeks ago I bought one on the internet and you just have to try out. So I finally started to finish the last pictures on my website.

Nu waren de mutsen aan de beurt. Afgelopen periode heb ik er een heleboel gemaakt, met name babymutsjes. Enjoy!
